With NeosAI, users can extract essential information from a photo ID to automatically create a Party. Only file formats of DOCX, JPEG/JPG, PNG, and PDF can be used to extract Photo ID data.
NOTE: You must have Add permissions to Case > Party Tab and Enabled Special Permissions to NeosAI.
To add a Party from a photo ID:
On the Party Tab list view, click the Add from file… AI dropdown.
Select the Add from Photo ID AI option.
NOTE: The Create Party AI option is also available in the detail view for documents that already exist in the Case with a “Photo ID” Document Type that have been AI Enhanced.
3. Upload the photo ID by dragging and dropping the file or clicking Browse to locate the file.
4. When the file has been added, click the Upload button.
5. A new Party Tab (person) detail view will display with extracted information from the uploaded photo ID. The Party detail view will contain available information for Full Name (First and Last), Gender, Date of Birth, Address (Home), Email (Business), Phone Number (Mobile, Business, or Fax), and Online Account (Website = Business, Platform = Website).
6. Select the Party Role to save the new Party. The Last Name field must also be populated to save the Party.
7. The image will be automatically uploaded into the Documents Tab of the Case and given a Document Type of “Photo ID”.
8. In the same workflow, NeosAI will analyze the ID card to extract the relevant Party details.
9. Extracted information will be placed in the Related Items tab on the Document detail view.
10. Double-click the entry to open the detail view showing all extracted fields.
