Bulk Generate Invoices

Invoices across multiple cases can now be created in bulk from the Accounting Tab > Invoices section. All billable Value records that have not yet been billed will display in a window with filter options to easily locate the entries your firm wishes to bill.

NOTE: You must have Enabled permission to Accounting and Add permissions to Accounting > Invoicing Tab.

To generate invoices across multiple cases:

  1. Navigate to the Accounting Tab > Invoices section.

  2. Click the Generate Invoices button on the far right above the grid.

  3. The Generate Invoices window will display containing a list of outstanding Value items for the last 30 days that have not been billed. Value entries that already have a Check or Deposit request associated will be automatically omitted when the Generate Invoices button is clicked.

Use the filters above the grid to locate Value entries by Bill To, Primary Staff, Value Service Date range, Time/Fees, Costs, and/or DTF Only.

NOTE: If the Bill To field on the Value entry is blank, the Party will show as the default.

NOTE: The DTF Only checkbox is unselected by default. When selected, the Costs checkbox will be unchecked and disabled.

  • If the Time/Fees checkbox is NOT selected, the grid will only show DTF type Value entries that are invoiceable and unbilled (respecting any other filters that are also applied).

  • If the Time/Fees checkbox IS selected, the grid will only show DTF type Value entries AND Fees that are invoiceable and unbilled (respecting any other filters that are also applied).

  • When both Time/Fees and Costs are selected, but DTF Only is NOT selected, all Costs and Fees that are unbilled, including DTFs, will be shown.

4. Using the checkboxes, select the Value entries you wish to bill/create invoices. If the selected entries have different Bill To details, an invoice will be generated for each unique contact. Click the Generate button.

5. The window will close and the selected Value items will be invoiced, displayed on the Invoices view.
