Copying Primary Checklist Items

Checklist items can be copied from one Primary Checklist to another.

NOTE: You must have at least Enabled permission to Directories > Primary Checklist and Directories > Case Type.

To copy checklist items from the Primary Checklist of a different Case Type:

  1. Click the Settings button on the left navigation pane.

  2. Click the Case Types button in the Directory editors section.

  3. Select the Case Type you wish to copy checklist items into.

  4. Select the Primary Checklist tab.

  5. Click the Actions menu and select the Copy items button.

  6. Select the Case Type where you wish to copy Primary Checklist items from and click the Save button.

    NOTE: Only active Case Types are displayed in the Case Type Selection window.

  7. A Staff Role References message will display if the Staff Roles do not exist in the current case type.

  • Click the Yes button to insert the missing Staff Roles in the Staff Assigned tab of the current case type and assign the appropriate Staff Role to the checklist items.

  • Click the No button if you do not wish to add the missing Staff Roles into the current case type. The Primary Staff Role will be assigned to the Primary Checklist items that are being copied to the current case type.

8. A Case Date References message will display if Case Date Labels do not exist in the current case type.

  • Click the Yes button to add the missing Case Date Labels to the Case Dates tab in the current case type and assign the appropriate Case Date reference (Ref) to the checklist items.

  • Click the No button if you do not wish to add the missing Case Date Labels into the current case type. The copied Primary Checklist items will be inserted with a MAN (manual) reference (Ref) date.

9. A confirmation message will display when all items in the Primary Checklist of the selected Case Type have been copied to the current Case Type.

10. Click the Close button to return to the Primary Checklist. Changes have been automatically saved.
