The Intake Activity Feed is a timeline of staff activity during the lifecycle of an Intake, as it advances through different stages. The Activity Feed is a NeosAI Platinum feature and can only be accessed if your firm is a NeosAI Platinum subscriber.
With the Intake Activity Feed, you can:
Get a full view of important changes made to an Intake, including when and by whom
Quickly take direct action on items or make changes from an activity
Email notes or review new documents directly from the feed
Check on important Intake milestones
NOTE: The Activity Feed will be initially blank for all Intakes. As staff add, edit, and delete content in an Intake, the feed will populate respectively.
To access the Activity Feed in an Intake:
Open Browse Intakes.
Double-click an Intake from the list or select an Intake and click the arrow icon from the preview pane.
From the list of available tabs, click the first tab for "Activity Feed".
The Activity Feed tracks all changes made throughout an Intake. The Activity Feed now has two view options. Both views are accessible in the Activity Feed for the Case, Intake, and My Dashboards. Your selected view will be retained when accessing other locations that use the Activity Feed.
Grid is the new default view for better organization and readability. The Grid view provides a structured format of activities in a grid for better navigation. Select a single entry to access the preview pane. Click the right arrow to view additional details and access the View/Edit buttons (refer to individual activity articles for available buttons). Toggle the Expand All / Collapse All button above the grid to open or close all expanded views. The Grid view contains default columns for Activity, Date (sorted newest to oldest), Description, and Author. Columns can be omitted and rearranged as needed, however, column headings cannot be sorted.
Timeline is the original Activity Feed view that offers a condensed view of activities by date. Intake activity is displayed in a single feed separated by date (day – month – year) and time. Each activity is displayed on its own line, distinguishable by icons that relate to the entity type. The Staff who made the change is listed next to each activity. Value Transaction is linked to the Value Tab and is read-only on the Activity Feed. Other types of activities can provide a preview of the item, the ability to be edited in the detail view with a single click, and the option to email, download, or send documents to DocuSign, as well as email notes.
While the icons based on activity type have not changed, the colors have changed based on action type.
Blue – Added, Moved To, Moved From, Copied To, Copied From, Migrated, and Submitted.
Green – Completed, Signed, Sent, Approved, Paid, and Opened.
Purple – Updated.
Red – Deleted and Denied.
Neutral – Voided.
Filter Activities
Since all updates are tracked, you can easily filter for changes to a specific entity or tab (Activity Type), changes made by one or more Staff, the type of change (Action Type), and the date range of changes (Start Date and End Date). The Activity Feed will automatically filter based on the selected Staff. Click the Apply button in the Filter popup to filter based on selections.
Information from the following entities can be displayed on the Activity Feed.
NOTE: Intake activity outside of the Intake (NEOS Case Type), Documents, Checklist, Notes, and Case Calendar tabs will display when the corresponding field is added to the Intake Layout Manager of a specific Case Type. For example, when data exists in the Insurance Tab fields on an Intake, use the Type dropdown in the Activity Feed Tab to filter for Insurance activity.
