Within the Chat with NeosAI pane, the actions button allows you to copy the entire chat to a new Case/Intake Note, copy the entire chat to your clipboard, and start a new chat.
NOTE: The NeosAI Chat actions menu is only available after a document has been selected or uploaded into the chat pane.
Copy Chat to Notes
This action allows the entire conversation to be copied as a new note to the Case/Intake Notes Tab. This feature does not require Add permissions to Case > Notes Tab.
To copy the entire chat as a Note in the Case/Intake:
In an active NeosAI Chat window, select the three dots button and choose Copy Chat to Notes.
The Save Chat to Notes message will display where you can enter a Subject for the new note, up to 255 characters. Saving this chat as a note will start a new conversation.
Click Save and Start New Chat to save the existing chat as a NeosAI Chat note type and immediately start a new conversation.
Click Cancel abort the note creation and continue with your current conversation.
3. A confirmation banner will display when Save and Start New Chat is selected.
4. Navigate to the Notes Tab of the Case/Intake and notice a new note type, "NeosAI Chat" has been created".
5. The NeosAI Chat note will have the "AI Conversation" Note Topic by default.
6. Single-select the note to see specific details on the note side pane.
7. From the Note side pane and Note detail view, the conversation from the saved NeosAI Chat can be continued by selecting Continue Conversation.
8. When Continue Conversation is selected, you will see the following message alerting you that your current NeosAI Chat will be removed. If you maintain your current note, you can set a Subject.
Click the Erase and Continue button to erase your current NeosAI Chat conversation and reload the NeosAI Chat window with your previous conversation from this saved note.
Click Save and Continue to save your current NeosAI Chat conversation as a new note with the entered Subject and reload NeosAI Chat with your previous conversation.
Click Cancel to abort the Continue Conversation process.
9. When either continue button is clicked, the Chat with NeosAI pane will immediately display your previously saved note so you can continue the conversation. When you're ready, you can copy the chat back to Notes for your records.
Copy Chat to Clipboard
Within the Chat with NeosAI pane, the entire conversation can be copied. You can also copy individual chat messages.
To copy the entire chat to your clipboard:
In an active NeosAI Chat window, select the three dots button and choose Copy Chat to Clipboard.
A success banner will display.
Once copied, the conversation text can be pasted elsewhere.
Start New Chat
During your conversation with the NeosAI Assistant, all messages sent and received will be retained even if the Chat with NeosAI pane is closed. When starting a new chat, your current conversation will be removed.
To start a new chat and remove your existing conversation:
In an active NeosAI Chat window, select the three dots button and choose Start New Chat.
On the following message window, choose how to handle your previous conversation. If you maintain your current note, you can set a Subject.
Erase and Continue – The current conversation will be removed and cannot be recovered. A new chat window will immediately initiate.
Save and Continue – The current conversation will be saved as a Note with the entered Subject in the Case/Intake. A success banner will display and a new chat window will immediately initiate.
Cancel – Abort the new chat and return to your current chat.
