Advanced Search queries and column order can be saved for the active user as a report for personal use or as a global report for others in your firm.
Existing Advanced Search reports can now be updated or saved as a new search.
Save Query as New Report
To save a new Advanced Search report:
On the Advanced Search tab, select the Save New Report button.
On the Save New Report window, enter a unique name for your search query. Report Name is a required field to save the query.
A Description of your Advanced Search report can be added and will display in the Report Library, when saved as a shared report. Neos displays "Created from Advanced Search." by default.
If you wish to keep this as a private report, keep the Share Report toggle off. Once Save is clicked, the report will contain a "Mine" tag.
If you would like to allow others in your firm access to this saved report, select the Share Report toggle to create a shared report. When toggled on, a Report Category dropdown will display. Select the appropriate report category for this new report. Report Category is a required field to save the query as a new shared report.
Once saved, the report will contain a "Shared" tag.
NOTE: If a staff member has access to Advanced Search and the search query has been saved as a report, that staff will also have access to the Advanced Search report in the Load Report dropdown.
6. Click the Save button to keep your changes. When the saved report is opened from the Report Library, the results will display by default in a new tab, showing the same saved search query.
NOTE: If a staff member has access to Reports but does not have access to Advanced Search, they can still view the report results of the saved search report, however, they will not be able to save changes to filters or perform a mass update.
Review Advanced Search Permissions for more details.
7. Saved search reports can be found in the Advanced Search tab by clicking the Load Report dropdown. When a saved search report is selected, the screen title and tab title are changed to the name of the saved report. Click the Run Search button to view the search results.
Save Advanced Search Report Changes
Neos detects when changes have been made to Advanced Search reports with a Save Changes option. This option allows you to keep your existing settings and simply save changes in fewer clicks.
On the Advanced Search tab with the saved report in the current view, make necessary changes (e.g., filters or columns). You may choose to run the search to ensure desired results are achieved.
Select the Save Changes button above the grid. Any changes made to the columns, ordering, sorting, summarization, or aggregation will be saved. To abort all filter changes since the last save, click the Discard button.
NOTE: Changes made to standard Advanced Search reports will not trigger the Save Changes button.
A success message will display when the saved search query has been updated.
