When the LawToolBox integration is active, click the Map your case dates to rulesets link from the integration screen. The Case Date Labels Mini Directory will display with a new "Trigger Date" column. Trigger dates can only be mapped to case dates that already exist in the Case Dates Mini Directory.
NOTE: You must have View and Modify permissions to Directories > Mini Directories.
In the Case Dates Mini Directory, Case Dates that are currently mapped with Trigger Dates are flagged as "Mapped". Unmapped Case Dates will show with a "Not Mapped" flag. Click the pencil icon next to each Case Date you wish to map or edit.
On the Map Trigger Dates window, a separate row for each of the selected rule sets will be shown for a Case Date. Use the Trigger Date dropdown to select the appropriate trigger for each rule set.
NOTE: You do not have to select a trigger date for each rule set but only one can be selected for each rule set.
Click the Save Mappings button. The number of mapped rule sets will display in the Trigger Date column. After you have mapped your desired Case Date Labels, make sure to click the Save button.
A new Map Trigger Dates… button allows all trigger dates for a rule set to be mapped at one time. A list of all active Rule Sets selected in the configuration of the LawToolBaox Integration page will be displayed. When a Rule Set is selected, the Mappings section will refresh, however any unsaved changes will be retained when switching between Rule Sets.
The Trigger Dates column will display a list of all LawToolBox Trigger Dates for the selected Rule Set. The Case Dates column will display all Case Date labels (both active and inactive). Once a Case Date label is selected for a Trigger Date, it will be disabled from the remaining Case Date dropdowns for a Trigger Date.
Use the Add Case Date field to create a unique Case Date. Click the + button to save and make that Case Date available within the current window. NOTE: The created Case Date will only save when the Save and Close button is clicked.
Case Date label changes made while the LawToolBox integration is disabled will not affect your existing mappings.
Open a Case to begin setting up Case Date Deadlines. Ensure the mapped Case Date(s) exist in the Case Type of the Case you plan to open in order to calculate deadlines.
