Trigger dates that should occur multiple times in a Case, such as a deposition or motion, can be added from the Case Calendar Tab. These reusable trigger dates are distinguishable with two asterisks before the title. A description must be added to customize each set of deadlines for a reusable trigger date. Repeat this process for each set of deadlines.
If a Case Date is mapped to a reusable trigger date, it can still be synced with Neos when a date is entered on the Case Tab, but the New Trigger option allows you to create multiple sets of deadlines, whereas mapped case dates will only create one set of deadlines.
NOTE: You must have Add permissions for Case > Deadlines and at least Enabled permissions to Case > Case Calendar.
On the Case Calendar Tab, select the + New Trigger button.
Use the dropdown to choose the reusable trigger date. This is a required field. This list shows all the reusable trigger dates for the selected Rule Set of the current Case.
NOTE: If the State and Rule Set have not been configured for the Case, this dropdown will be blank.
Next, enter the date for the deadline (e.g., deposition date) and click Next. This is a required field.
You'll then be prompted to enter a description to customize the deadline for grouping (e.g., the person getting deposed). This field is required for all reusable trigger dates. This information gets added to the description of the deadline.
Choose the deadlines for syncing to Neos. You'll see the description has been appended to the end of each deadline. All deadlines will be selected by default, showing the current staff.
NOTE: Only the deadlines that are checked will be synced to Neos (displayed in the Case Calendar).
The new deadlines will be added to the Case Calendar Tab.
