Neos QuickBooks Integrator View

The Neos QuickBooks Integrator enables synchronization from Neos to QuickBooks for Checks and Deposits. QuickBooks can also sync Bills as Case Expenses and Deposits as Settlements to Neos. New Customers and Vendors can now be created using the Add New Name/Link button.

Access Records

Up to 50 records are shown per page on each tab by default. With continuous scrolling, the number will increase to the next 50.

Neos QB

The integrator window displays checks and deposits from Neos. Checks is always the default tab. The Post to QuickBooks button is used to send selected checks or deposits to QuickBooks.

  • The Checks tab contains check requests that were created from a Value Transaction of a Value entry from a Case in Neos.

  • The Deposits tab contains deposit requests that were created from a Value Transaction of a Value entry from a Case in Neos.

QB Neos

  • The Case Expenses tab contains "billable" Bills that were fully paid in QuickBooks by Check, Debit, or Credit with an associated Customer/Job and a Customer/Vendor linked in Neos. Individual expenses can be posted to Neos.

  • The Settlement Deposits tab contains Deposits entered in QuickBooks with a Job, Customer, and Vendor currently linked in Neos. Individual deposits can be posted to Neos.

Select Records

Individual records can be selected from the checkbox to the left of a row. You can select all records using the checkbox at the top of the grid (in the header row).

The Total Records and Total Amount of all selected entries will display at the bottom of the integrator.

Individual Check requests can be deleted from the Integrator using the trash can icon.

Filter & Refresh Records

Click the Refresh button to update the tab with recent requests from Neos or QuickBooks. Click the Settings button to ensure that the correct QuickBooks Company is connected.

Additional filtering enables you to search your entire request queue within the selected tab (e.g., Checks, Deposits, Case Expenses, or Settlement Deposits).

Enter text for Company, Case #, Payee, Amount, Staff name, Value code, Party, and/or Memo to locate requests. Select the Sort by field to sort requests by any of the filter criteria and choose the order: ASC (ascending) or DESC (descending).

Click the Search button to view targeted results.

Click a column heading to sort all records for the selected queue tab (ascending or descending). The Sort by field will automatically display the title of the clicked column.

NOTE: When the Refresh button is clicked, all set filters and sorting will be reset.

Columns can be rearranged in the grid by clicking and dragging to a new position. Two blue caret icons will be present where the column can be dropped. Columns cannot be repositioned outside of the grid header.

If your firm uses Alt Case #1 or Alt Case #2 as its Default Case Number in Firm Preferences > Default Info, an Alt Case #1 or Alt Case #2 column will be added to the QuickBooks Integrator grid in the Checks, Deposits, Case Expenses, and Settlement Deposits tabs.
