Transactions for multiple Value entries can be added at one time using the meatball menu on the Value Tab list view. DTF Value items and check requests can also be created.
NOTE: You must have Add permissions for the Value Tab to add transactions.
To add transactions for Value items:
Open the desired Case and select the Value Tab.
On the list view, use the check boxes to select the Value entries for which you wish to add transactions.
Click the three-dot menu above the grid and select the Add Transaction option.
The Add Multiple Transactions window will display a transaction line for each selected Value item. All fields can be modified as needed. To edit the Amount and Reference fields, double-click to enter edit mode.
Date – Displays today's date by default.
Paid by – Displays "Us" as the default payor.
Paid to – Displays "Provider" as the default payee.
Amount – The value from the Due field displays by default.
C/D – Displays "Debit" by default.
Type – Displays "Payment" by default.
Reference – This field is blank by default. Double-click to type additional reference details about the transaction.
The Totals field displays the total Due of all selected Value entries.
Create DTF? – Select the slider to create a DTF (Due To Firm) Value item. Refer to Adding and Changing DTF Value Items for more details.
Create Check Requests for All transactions – Select the slider to create a check request for all listed transactions. Check requests are sent either to the Neos QuickBooks Integrator (for firms using the QuickBooks SDK integration) or to the Accounting Tab (for firms using the QuickBooks Online integration.
5. Click the Create button to add the transactions for the selected Value items. The Due amount will show $0.00 if the Value transaction was paid in full.
6. The Value Tab will be saved and will display the added DTF item, if requested.
