The type of file (Word, PDF, etc.) will display on the top left under the Document Details title. The breadcrumb path to the file's exact location in your firm's SharePoint is displayed next to the file type. The File Name displays the name of the file with the extension (e.g., .pdf). Additional standard fields have been added (highlighted above). Refer to Upload Documents for more details.
When changes are made to a document's Type or Category (from the Detail View or Preview Pane), a Document Moved confirmation window will display with the File Name and new File Path.
Neos will automatically organize your files into the appropriate subfolder (Category). For example, if a document already has a Category of "Exhibits" and only the Document Type has changed, Neos will automatically move the document and create an Exhibits subfolder in the new Document Type folder, if one does not already exist.
Document Fields Tab
When a document has a Document Type, the Fields tab will display a list of standard fields, as defined in the Document Type Directory.
With certain Document Types (Business Card, Photo ID, Receipt, and Invoice), files can be enhanced with NeosAI and automatically display extracted data from JPEG, PNG, and PDF files in corresponding fields of the Fields tab.
