In this final step, you will see the total postage amount and what your remaining Stamps.com balance will be after Pay & Print is selected. If your Stamps.com integration is configured to automatically create a Note and/or Value item, it will be added during this step.
Step 5: Confirm Pay & Print
Review the total amount on the Confirm Pay & Print step. Click the Pay & Print button to proceed.
A Processing/Complete window will display on the bottom right of Neos.
A PDF of the completed postage will immediately download. Click the PDF to view the actual postage labels for all selected addresses.
Auto-Created Case Note
A Case Note has automatically been created. Navigate to the Notes Tab of the Case to see that added note.
The Note Type will be set to "Postage" and include the default Topic and Subject as defined in the Stamps.com integration.
The body of the Note will contain three sections pertaining to the configured postage.
Addresses – Displays the (Prefix, First, Last, Suffix) name, selected address, cost, estimated delivery date/range, and tracking number.
Shipping Service Details – Displays the service type, ship date, printed on type, weight, size, and any additional selected services.
Cost – Displays the total cost of the postage.
Auto-Created Value Entry
If the "Create Value Items" slider was toggled on in Step 1- Select Address, a single Value entry will be automatically created for each unique "Bill To" contact in the Value Tab.
The Value entry contains the following defaults from the Stamps.com Integration page:
Value Code
Provider
Memo
Settlement Note
Value Category
Reference 1 & 2
UTBMS Code
The Amount and selected Party from the completed postage transaction will be displayed.
If the "Create Additional DTF" checkbox is selected in the Stamps.com integration and the selected Value Code is flagged as "DTF" in the Value Codes Mini Directory, a Transaction item will be added to the created Value entry with the full amount and an associated DTF Value entry will be created.
A record of the created Note and Value entry will display in the Activity Feed of the Case in both the Timeline and Grid view options.
