Archiving Messages

A Neos message can be likened to a message slip and your message list is like a pile of messages on your desk; once read, they should be acted upon, filed in the appropriate case folder, and then deleted. The archive is similar to a desk drawer where you store the messages until you are ready to take action. Archived messages can be unarchived by moving them back to the Inbox or Sent folder, or deleted by moving them to the Deleted folder.

Archive Messages

To archive messages:

  1. From the Messages tab, choose the folder that contains the message you wish to archive.

  2. From the list view, select the desired message(s) and click Bulk Actions > Move to > Archived.

  3. From the detail view, click the three-dot menu and choose Move to > Archived.

NOTE: The detail view can be accessed by double-clicking the message or clicking the expand icon

or right arrow on the preview pane (accessed by single-clicking a message).

  4. The selected message(s) will be moved from the current folder to the Archived folder.

Unarchive Messages

To unarchive messages:

  1. From the Messages tab, select the Archived folder.

  2. Single messages can only be unarchived from the detail view.

  3. Click the three-dot menu and choose Move to. The message can be moved to either Inbox or Deleted.

  4. The selected message(s) will be moved from the Archived folder to the selected folder.
