Neos has made it easier for users to self-service forgotten passwords without requiring an administrator. If a user forgets their Neos password, they can click a link directly on the login screen to reset their password. A temporary password is sent to the user via email when the entered email address matches the Email on file in their Neos Staff Profile. After the user logs in with the temporary password, they are prompted to set a new password.
To self-service a forgotten Neos password:
On the Sign In screen for Neos (https://app.neos-cloud.com/), click the Forgot Password link. [screenshot]
On the Reset Password screen, enter the Email address that is associated with the Staff Profile in Neos and your firm's Company ID. Once these required fields have been satisfied, click the Continue button. To abort the Reset Password, click the Cancel button to return the sign in screen. [screenshot]
If your entered email matches the Email field in your Neos Staff Profile, you will receive an email with your temporary password. Your temporary password email may take 5-10 minutes to be delivered, depending on your mail service. Check your spam if you do not see the email.

If you do not receive the email with your temporary password, contact your administrator to add your email to your Staff Profile.
NOTE: Once you have requested a temporary password, your previous, forgotten password will no longer work, should you recall it after completing the Reset Password screen.
You should receive an email with a temporary password. Copy (select and Ctrl + C) the single-use password and paste (Ctrl + V) it in the Password field on the login screen. [screenshot]
Enter your Company ID, Username/Email, and temporary Password, then click Sign In. You will be prompted to create a new password.
NOTE: Strong passwords, up to 50 characters should contain at least 8 characters, including 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, and 1 number.
Enter and confirm your new password and click the Reset button.
A success banner will display when your password has been changed. You will also be logged in to Neos.
