The Template Setup contains a list of templates that have been created for use with Document Generation.
NOTE: You will need the proper permission to Directories > Templates in order to access Template Setup.
To access Template Setup, click the Settings button on the left navigation pane and select the Templates button in the Directory editors.
The Template Setup directory opens to a list of your firm's Word and PDF templates, showing Document Title, Template Category, Template Type, Document Type, Format, and Active?.
Type into the filter row to locate templates by grid headings.
Select a Word template to open a new tab in Neos with a full preview and Settings from the Edit template window, in which to make changes.
The Settings tab shows the entered field data when the template was added.
The Template Source field of an existing template cannot be changed. Click the eye icon
to view the document in your firm's SharePoint. Refer to Editing Documents in SharePoint for more details.NOTE: You must have Modify permissions to Directories > Templates to access the eye icon.
Use the checkbox in the Active field to mark the document inactive. When a document is marked inactive, it will not display in your firm's list of templates for Document Generation.
The Document Fields tab allows document-specific contact fields to be mapped.
Select a PDF template to open a new tab in Neos with a full preview and Settings from the Edit template window, in which to make changes.
Click the PDF Fields tab to map fillable fields with Neos fields. Refer to Adding PDFs to Template Setup for more details.
Refer to Adding Coded Documents to Template Setup for details on adding to the Template Setup.
Click the X to close the Settings - Templates tab and return to the list view of Templates (if the Settings tab is open).
