Running a Report

Reports can be run by selecting a desired report to display the Report Details tab.

NOTE: To run a report, you must have proper permissions to the Report Library and the selected report.

The Report Details tab contains filters unique to each report that are useful for showing desired report data. Use the dropdowns to manipulate report filters.

Date filters such as Date of Incident Start and Date of Incident End, or Due Date Start and Due Date End allow you to search a start and end date range to locate data. For example, to locate Checklist items with a Due Date between January and March in 2020, you would enter "01/01/2020" in the Due Date Start filter and "03/31/2020" in the Due Date End filter. The date range also lets you select a period of time, e.g., Yesterday, Past 3 months, etc. Refer to Field Types for more information.

To locate data starting from any date up to a certain end date, set the Start date as "01/01/1900" and then specify a particular End date. To locate all data, you can leave the End date blank or simply leave both the Start/End data fields blank.

NOTE: Some reports have required filters that must be satisfied before the report can be generated, e.g., Case Facts.

To complete the requirement, you will need to search for and select the required filter (e.g., Case Number).

When filter changes have been made, click the Apply button to display the updated results. The Clear filters button will revert all filters back to the default.

Once the report has been run, it can be exported, subscribed to, and saved as a new report. Refer to Editing Reports for details on changing the Name, Description, Sort, Filters, and Columns of a report.

NOTE: Some reports, like the Case Facts report, must be exported as a PDF Legacy Report (N5) to show groupings, totals, and full details.
