The Accounting section controls access to the Accounting Tab, which stores all check and deposit requests, linked names, invoices, and funds (transactions).
To set the Accounting Tab permission, select the Explicit Allow or Explicit Deny buttons on the Accounting top-level.
Accounting > Send Payment
Permissions to Send Payment, a feature of the Digital Disbursements integration, are described below. This permission will be set to Inherit Deny (off) for all staff and permission groups by default.
Enabled?: Access the Digital Disbursements "Pay Now" buttons and successfully save within the Pay Now window. The user must also have the appropriate Value Tab permissions.
NOTE: When Send Payment is disabled (but the user has the appropriate Value Tab permissions), they will see the Add payment button instead.
Can add?: Permission is not applicable.
Can modify?: Permission is not applicable.
Can delete?: Permission is not applicable.
Accounting > Accounting Tab
Permissions to Accounting Tab are described below. Staff within the Administrator permission group will have the Accounting Tab set to Enabled. This permission will be set to Inherit Deny for all other staff permission groups.
Enabled?: Access the Accounting Tab from the left navigation pane.
Can add?: Permission is not applicable.
Can modify?: Permission is not applicable.
Can delete?: Permission is not applicable.
Accounting > Deposits
Permissions to Deposits view on the Accounting Tab are described below. Staff within the Administrator permission group will have full Deposits permissions enabled. This permission will be set to Inherit Deny for all other staff, unless the following special permissions were previously set.
Staff that previously had the Request Deposits special permission will now have the new Accounting > Deposits "Add" permission.
Staff that previously had the Export Deposits special permission will now have the new Accounting > Deposits "Enabled", "Modify", and "Delete" permissions.
Enabled?: Access the Deposits view on the Accounting Tab.
Can add?: Displays the "Create a Deposit Request" toggle when adding a credit value transaction.
Can modify?: The Edit and Post to QuickBooks buttons will be enabled on the Deposits view.
Can delete?: The Delete button will be enabled on the Deposits view, allowing pending deposit requests to be deleted.

Permissions to Checks view on the Accounting Tab are described below. Staff within the Administrator permission group will have full Checks permissions enabled. This permission will be set to Inherit Deny for all other staff, unless the following special permissions were previously set.
Staff that previously had the Request Checks special permission will now have the new Accounting > Checks "Add" permission.
Staff that previously had the Export Checks special permission will now have the new Accounting > Checks "Enabled", "Modify", and "Delete" permissions.
Enabled?: Access the Checks view on the Accounting Tab.

Accounting > Name Links
Permissions to Names view on the Accounting Tab are described below. Staff within the Administrator permission group will have the Accounting Tab set to Enabled. This permission will be set to Inherit Deny for all other staff permission groups.
Enabled?: Access the Names view on the Accounting Tab.
Can add?: The Add button will be enabled, allowing new name links to be created.
Can modify?: The Edit button will be enabled on the Names view, allowing name links to be modified.
Can delete?: The Delete button will be enabled, allowing names to be delinked.
Accounting > Invoicing Tab
Permissions to the Invoicing Tab are displayed below. The Invoices Tab is located within the Value Tab and Accounting Tab. To access the Invoices view in the Value Tab, a user must have Enabled permissions to the Value Tab and Invoicing Tab. To access the Invoices view in the Accounting Tab, a user must have Enabled permissions to the Accounting Tab and Invoicing Tab.
NOTE: Staff in the Administrator Role Permission Group will automatically have full access (explicit allow). This permission will be set to inherit deny for all other permission groups by default.
Enabled?: View Invoicing Tab.
Can add?: Create new invoices.
Can modify?: Change existing invoices.
Can delete?: Delete invoices.
Accounting > Funds Tab
Permissions to the Funds Tab are displayed below. The Funds Tab is located within the Value Tab and Accounting Tab. To access the Funds view in the Value Tab, a user must have Enabled permissions to the Value Tab and the Funds Tab. To access the Funds view in the Accounting Tab, a user must have Enabled permissions to the Accounting Tab and Funds Tab.
NOTE: Staff in the Administrator Role Permission Group will automatically have full access (explicit allow). This permission will be set to inherit deny for all other permission groups by default.
NOTE: Users who add Value Transactions can still select a Fund in the Add Transaction window, even if they do not have Funds Tab permissions.
Enabled?: View Funds Tab.
Can add?: Create new funds.
Can modify?: Change existing funds.
NOTE: To categorize transactions into a fund, Modify permissions for the Value Tab are required.
Can delete?: Delete funds.
