With NeosAI, documents can be analyzed at the time of upload to a Case/Intake.
NOTE: Your firm must have NeosAI and a user must have the NeosAI Special Permission enabled with Add permissions to Case > Documents Tab.
When one or more documents are uploaded into Neos by dragging and dropping, the option for Analyze with NeosAI will display. NeosAI can extract content from your file and insert data into the Dynamic Layout on the Document Detail View > Related Items tab based on the extraction(s) selected.
Using the Upload file window, set the Document Type, Category, and Tags fields as needed. Document Type is NOT required when choosing extractions with NeosAI, however it is necessary if you want NeosAI to automatically select the corresponding extraction type.
When toggled on, the Analyze with NeosAI slider allows documents to be uploaded, assigned the selected Document Type, summarized, analyzed, and extracted. Refer to Analyze Documents for the full list of supported file types based on the extraction type.
Click Save to start the upload and analysis. Refer to Analyze Documents for selecting your desired data extraction type.
Party records can now be created in bulk from the AI extracted information.
The Processing window will display with the document title. Click the down arrow to expand each workflow portion (Document Upload, AI Summary, and AI Extraction). The following shows an example of three documents that have been uploaded with drag & drop, summarized, and with two types of extractions.
When complete, navigate to the Document Detail View > Related Items tab to access the AI extracted information. The document will be flagged as "AI Enhanced" in the detail view and "AI Extract" in the list view.
