Manually Sync Checklist Tasks to Outlook

If a Checklist item exists in a Case/Intake that has not been synced to Outlook, it can be manually synced from the Checklist Task Pane.

Your firm must have "Organizer for Checklist Outlook Sync" enabled in Firm Preferences > Default Info tab.

NOTE: Staff must have Modify permissions to Case > Checklist.

To manually sync a Checklist Task to Outlook:

  1. Open the Checklist Tab and select the Details button to open the Checklist Task Pane.

    NOTE: The selected task must have a Due Date entered (can be past or future).

  2. Select the Outlook Sync checkbox and click Save Changes. [screenshot]

  3. A success banner will display.

  4. In Neos, the task will show the calendar sync icon in the Sync column of the Checklist grid.

  5. In Outlook, you should receive an email from the selected Organizer configured in Firm Preferences > Default Info for this task as an all-day event.

  • Event Title – Displays the Case Name (Case Number) | Checklist Task Name

  • Required – Includes listed Assigned and Collaborator(s)

  • Body includes:

    • Case Name

    • Task Name

    • Assigned Staff Full Name

    • Link to the Task – Opens the Case > Checklist Tab, filtered to the Task Pane of the Checklist Code. NOTE: If another tab of the Case is already open, it may open to the other tab.

    • Notes – Includes content from the Instructions field, with bullet point

    • Case Information – Includes Case details if entered:

    • Primary Staff

    • First Party

    • Judge

    • Court

    • Docket #

    • Counsel
