The Firm Addresses section stores your firm's office addresses for use throughout Neos. Up to 10 addresses can be added per firm, with one address marked as the Default. Address fields are available as merge tags in Document Generation and can be selected when exporting reports to PDF.
NOTE: You must have View permissions to Firm Preferences to view addresses. You must have Modify permissions to Firm Preferences to add, edit, or delete addresses.

Firm Address Merge Tags
Firm Address fields are available as merge tags for use in Document Generation.
Open the merge field picker in the Word Add-In or PDF Template editor.
In the Category dropdown, select FirmAddress.
[[ Address 1 | FirmSession.Address.Address1 ]]
NOTE: The “Firm” category can instead be selected to keep the tags generic (see below). A dropdown with address nicknames is still present during document generation, however, this generic-tag dropdown does not default to any address.
Use the Sub Category field to choose the address by Nickname created in Firm Preferences.
4. Insert the tag(s) you want to include in the document. See example tags below.
[[ Address1 | FirmAddress.Address1 | Main Office ]]
[[ City | FirmAddress.City | Main Office ]], [[ State | FirmAddress.State | Main Office ]], [[ Zipcode | FirmAddress.Zipcode | Main Office ]]
5. During the Document Generation process, the Firm Address dropdown will default to the address matching the tag’s Nickname. Select a different address from the dropdown to override the default.
NOTE: If a tag’s Nickname does not match an existing firm address, the dropdown will not default and will display blank. Select the applicable address before generating the document.
Neos does not enforce unique Nicknames across firm addresses. If more than one firm address shares the same Nickname, the dropdown may default to any one of the matching addresses. Use unique Nicknames to ensure predictable results.
6. The rendered tag will look as follows for the entered address.
NOTE: Existing templates using legacy Firm Address tags (e.g., [[Firm.Address]], [[Firm.Phone]], [[Firm.Fax]]) continue to populate using the firm's Default address. No changes to existing templates are required.
Firm Address on Exported Reports
When exporting reports to PDF, you can choose the firm address and control its position on the page.
1. In the Export Options window of Legacy Reports or Advanced Search, use the Firm Address dropdown to first select a position: None, Left, Center, or Right.
2. When a position other than None is selected, an address selector is displayed. Select the address to display on the export.
NOTE: The address selector defaults to the firm's Default address. If the previously selected address is later deleted, exports revert to the firm's Default address.
