The Provider Associations Tab is similar to the Companion Cases Tab in a Case Folder. When multiple Providers share a common relationship, it is helpful to create a relationship in Neos. Association groups can be created and assigned to different Providers in the Provider Associations Directory. Associations can also be created and assigned to an active Provider from the Provider Folder Associations Tab. Once the association is created, the Provider Associations feature can be used to cross-reference Providers.
NOTE: You must have at least Enabled permissions to Provider > Provider Associations Tab.
To access the Associations Tab, open the desired Provider and select the Provider Associations Tab.
The Associations Tab contains a Groups pane and Group Members pane.
Groups Pane
The Groups pane contains a grid listing Provider Associations groups where the current Provider is a member. The name of a group is displayed in the Group Name column. The number of Providers that are members of a group are listed in the # Of Members column.
Group Members Pane
The Group Members pane contains a grid of Provider members in a selected Provider Associations group. Default columns include ID, Provider Name, Role, Specialty, Primary, and Multiple Group.
The primary for each Provider Association Group will display in the Primary column, as defined in the Provider Association Directory but can be changed on the Associations tab of a Provider Folder. The first member of a Provider Association group is deemed the Primary by default.
NOTE: Designating a Primary Provider is helpful when grouping a collection of providers that exist at the same location. For example "Spine Specialists, PC" could be the Primary Provider for a group and the Provider Group Members could be individual doctors at the practice.
If the Provider is a member of multiple Provider Associations groups, an icon will display in the Multiple Group column.
Double-click a Provider from the Group Members pane to open their Provider Folder.
