The Dynamic Layouts Tab is a new tab that shows a list of all Dynamic Layouts added to the Case/Intake for faster visualization of data. This tab is now available to all firms.
NOTE: To access the Dynamic Layouts Tab, your Staff must have Enabled permissions to General > Dynamic Layouts.
NOTE: Only standard Dynamic Layouts are included. To add or customize Dynamic Layouts, your firm must have the NeosAI Platinum offering. Interested firms should fill in this form or contact their Customer Success Manager or [email protected] for more information.
The Dynamic Layouts Tab must be turned on in the Case Type Setup > Tab Setup Tab.
A grid will display containing a list of all Dynamic Layouts used within the Case/Intake. Dynamic Layouts can be a direct child of the Case, a child of a document, or any other record within the Case. [screenshot]
The following default columns can be rearranged within the grid but cannot be removed. NOTE: Column placement changes cannot be saved and will revert upon reentering the tab.
Category – Displays the category of the Dynamic Layout. If nothing is selected, this field will be blank.
Dynamic Layout Name – The name selected in the Dynamic Layouts Directory.
Title – The Field Name selected for the Use as Title radio button will display in the grid (e.g., data from the Examination Name field for each Examination Dynamic Layout entry used in the Case). Use as Title is configured in the Dynamic Layouts Directory.
Date – The Field Name selected for the Use as Date radio button will display in the grid (e.g., data from a date field type for each Examination Dynamic Layout entry). Use as Date is configured in the Dynamic Layouts Directory.
Date Created – The date and time the Dynamic Layout was created, in that Staff's time zone.
Linked Parent Record – Displays the [Type of parent (e.g., Document, Party, Value, etc.)] – [Name of parent]
• If Party, shows Party Name
• If Case, shows Case Name
• If Insurance, shows Insurance Type: Insurer Name
• If Value, shows Value Code: Provider Name
• If Counsel, shows Counsel Name
• If Document, shows Document's File Name
• If Dynamic Layout, shows Dynamic Layout Name
Last Modified – Displays the date and time the Dynamic Layout was modified in that Staff's time zone. If a child of a Dynamic Layout parent is added or deleted, the Last Modified date and Last Modified By fields of the parent will be updated.
Last Modified By – Displays the Staff Full Name (or Staff Code, if Full Name is blank) of the Staff that last modified the Dynamic Layout.
The Dynamic Layout records are sorted by Date Created (newest to oldest). All columns can be sorted ascending or descending.

Filter Dynamic Layouts
The Category filter is always shown by default, allowing multiple Dynamic Layout categories to be selected.
Click the Filters button to access additional options. Click the Apply button to keep your filter options. Click Reset All to clear all filters.
Dynamic Layout Name – Shows Dynamic Layouts by name. This is a multi-select field.
Date Created – Shows Dynamic Layouts created within the selected date range.
Parent Type – Shows Dynamic Layouts that are children of the select parent types. This is a multi-select field.
Date Modified – Shows Dynamic Layouts modified within the selected date range.
Last Modified By – Shows Dynamic Layouts modified by selected staff. This is a multi-select field.
The View dropdown above the grid displays options for All and Medical Chronology. The last selected View will be retained with returning to the Dynamic Layouts Tab. The All view will automatically reset any filters and show all Dynamic Layouts for the Case/Intake.
The Medical Chronology view will automatically select the following categories for filtering: Examinations, Medical Condition, Medication, and Treatment. [screenshot]
Select a Dynamic Layout entry to view the side pane. Staff must have Edit permissions to General > Dynamic Layouts to edit fields. [screenshot]
Double-click an entry in the grid to open the Dynamic Layout detail view. [screenshot]
