During communication with support, your Neos representative may direct you to install an instance of TeamViewer to easily walkthrough your concerns. This article describes the process for downloading and connecting to TeamViewer using a Mac device.
From Neos, click the question icon on the left navigation pane and select Support Portal.
You will be directed to the Self-Serve Portal.
Scroll down and select the TeamViewer icon. Alternatively, you may also click here.
A new tab will open in your browser. TeamViewer should immediately download to your device. If it does not, click the Try again link to initiate the download.
Navigate to your device's Downloads section and double-click to open the TeamViewer file.
Click Open on the security confirmation message.
On the TeamViewer End-User License Agreement, review then select the check box for I accept the EULA and the DPA. and click the Continue button.
On the Review System Access window, click the Request Access button to allow TeamViewer access to your mouse and keyboard.
On the Accessibility Access window, click the Open System Preferences button.
Your device's Security & Privacy window will display. On the Accessibility tab, click the lock icon on the bottom left to make changes.
In order to unlock your device's Security & Privacy preferences, you will be prompted to enter the User Name and Password. Click the Unlock button.
NOTE: The User Name and Password must be linked to an administrator account. These fields are case sensitive.
Once unlocked, you will be returned to the Security & Privacy window, now showing the unlock icon.
On the Privacy tab and in the right pane, find and select the check box for the TeamViewer QuickSupport app.
When you return to the Review System Access window, the Accessibility section will be set to Allowed. Click the Close button.
NOTE: To return to the Review System Access window, click the Apple icon and select TeamViewer QS. Then, navigate to Help > Check system access. Any incomplete areas will be marked with
.
Once complete, the Assembly QuickSupport window will display. Provide the 9- or 10-digit ID to your Assembly Support agent so they can securely remote into your device. [omit screenshot for now]
When finished, click the
or Quit to close the window.
To return to TeamViewer, open your Downloads folder and double-click TeamViewer QuickSupport.
NOTE: You do not need to download TeamViewer again, as your previous settings will be applied.
