Make Deposits in QuickBooks

When deposits are created in QuickBooks, they can be posted to Neos as Credit Value entries with a "Settlement Amount" Type Value Code using the Neos QuickBooks integrator.

To create a deposit in QuickBooks:

  1. Navigate to Banking > Make Deposits.

  2. Set the Received From field to the Case Customer/Job > Job (Neos Case Number). This field is required to sync the deposit.

  3. You may include a Memo, Pmt Meth (Payment Method), and Amount, which also sync to Neos. NOTE: Chk No. does not post back to Neos.

  4. Choose the From Account. This field does not sync to Neos but is required to make a deposit in QuickBooks.

  5. Click Save and Close when complete.

Once the deposit is saved, navigate to the Neos QuickBooks Integrator to post the deposit as a Settlement Amount Value item in Neos.

NOTE: If the deposit is deleted from QuickBooks, it will not display in the integrator. If a deposit is voided in QuickBooks (right-click deposit entry > Void Deposit), the Amount will show zero. To remove the voided entry from the integrator, post the entry to Neos and then delete the created Value item from the Case.
