The new Settlement section allows users to enter payments for Value items without having to leave the current view.
NOTE: You must have Add permissions to Case > Value Tab to create transactions.
You may also need:
Enabled permissions to Special Permissions > Turn off DTF creation
Add permissions to Accounting > Checks and/or Accounting > Deposits to create a check or deposit request
To add a payment from the Settlement section:
Use the down arrows to expand the section you wish to record a transaction. Value entries that have an amount due over $0 will show an enabled plus button. Entries less than $0 will show a disabled button.
The Add Payment window will display.

Due – Displays the amount due from the Value item. This is read-only.
Party – Displays the Party from the selected Value item. This is read-only.
