All of your firm's Neos data is regularly backed up several times a day and secured across data centers in the country. The Neos On-Demand Backup allows you to keep a copy of your backups on your own device.
Using the On-Demand Backup, you can:
Download a copy of your database data on demand
Schedule backups to be delivered daily, weekly, or monthly using a secure tool
Use a SQL backup file to query your data with common tools
A backup can be requested manually or scheduled to be delivered daily, weekly, or monthly. The frequency depends on the level of your service subscription. Neos offers three subscription tiers. NOTE: Your firm's subscription to this backup service only determines how frequently Neos makes backups available for secure download. Firm data will still be regularly backed up as part of our standard backup and recovery process included in your Neos subscription. The On-Demand Backup only includes your database data, not individual files (e.g., .eml or documents).
Once your firm has this service module enabled, you will be instructed to obtain the Neos Backup Downloader tool, which allows users to enter their Username, Password, and Company ID to access backed-up files from a secure location. Backups can be downloaded any number of times for three (3) days before they are removed from the list.
