Add-Remove Dynamic Layout Editor Sections

Sections allow you to create compact Dynamic Layouts by type where you can customize desired user defined Case fields and hide titles for a cleaner look.

Adding Sections

In the left pane of the Dynamic Layout Editor, select the Section button. A New Section window will display with "Untitled Section" as the default section title. You may keep or rename the standard section title. Click the Save button to insert the new section at the bottom of the Dynamic Layout Editor.

A maximum of 100 characters is allowed.

NOTE: Section titles can be modified after being created using the Section Settings pane or by clicking into the edit field on the Dynamic Layout Editor design screen.

Click the Save button to retain your changes.

The four arrows icon

will display showing that the section can be repositioned. Refer to Customizing Dynamic Layout Design for more details.

Section Settings

To customize a section, click the Settings icon

to the far right of that section. In the Section Settings pane, use the toggle to show or hide the section title. Section titles are shown by default. When hidden, sections will flow into each other, separated only by a horizontal line. Neos will retain the section title in the Section Settings pane but will disable the field when the toggle is off (hidden). Click the right arrow to close the pane.

Deleting Sections

To remove a section, click the X icon on the far right. Select the Yes button on the Delete Section window. Deleted sections are not stored in the Dynamic Layout Editor.

Click the Save button to retain your changes.
