Once you have customized your directories, you may begin entering case information. You will spend a significant amount of time each day entering and updating case information, providing the data becomes the basis for all the Neos features that will help you process and manage your cases.
A case in Neos resembles a file folder, with tabs representing categories of information or features. Factual information about the case is entered into the Case Folder on tabs. The tabs are collectively part of the Case Folder. Many tabs allow custom user-defined fields to be inserted and can be designed in the Case Type Directory for a Case/Matter Type. Each tab is described in more detail within the Knowledge Base.
The full list of Case Folder tabs can be collapsed and expanded by clicking the arrow icon. For small screen sizes, the Case Folder tabs are automatically hidden to show the best fit of the selected tab content.
When the arrow icon
is pointing left, the tab pane will be stationary, which may condense the tab content size on the screen. Click the arrow icon to hide all tabs.
When the arrow icon
is pointing right, the full list of tabs will be hidden by default. Hover over the arrow icon to display the tab list and select a tab if needed. Moving your mouse away will hide the tab list.
