Some checklist items may not apply to a particular case or were added by mistake and should be deleted in order to clean up the Checklist tab.
NOTE: You must have Delete permissions to Case > Checklist. To delete LIM items, you must also have Enabled permissions to Special Permissions > Delete Lim items.
TIP: Rather than deleting items that are not relevant, consider marking them N/A. This shows that the item task was considered but not applicable.
NOTE: This process should be followed if you wish to remove an Auxiliary Checklist title and/or In Litigation status from the Case Header. Use the Columns menu to show the "Aux Checklist Title" column, then delete all checklist items from the Case that appear in the desired Auxiliary Checklist. Once all checklist items in that title are removed and the Checklist is refreshed, the Auxiliary Checklist title will also be removed from the Case Header.
To delete a checklist item:
Hover your mouse over the item you wish to delete.
Click the kebab menu icon
and select the Delete option.
NOTE: Items can also be deleted from the Checklist Preview Pane using the More Actions menu.
Confirm the item deletion on the Delete checklist.
Click the Yes button to delete the checklist item.
Click the No button to abort the deletion.
4. The item will display with a strikethrough when the Yes button is clicked.
5. Click the Refresh Checklist button above the grid to remove the deleted item from the Checklist tab.
NOTE: If a checklist item flagged as LIM is deleted, the LIM Date on the Case Header will be updated according to the available remaining LIM checklist items.
NOTE: If a parent checklist item is deleted, any children items that reference it will not be inserted into the case.
