The Quick Add feature allows you to pin a frequently used Auxiliary Checklist task directly to the + Add Task... button in the Case Checklist. Once configured, clicking the button adds that task to the checklist immediately, without navigating the Select Checklist Task window. The configured task is retained across all cases and case types for that staff person.
Refer to the sections below to set, use, and manage your Quick Add configuration.
NOTE: You must have Add permissions to Case > Checklist Tab.
Set Quick Add
Click the dropdown arrow on the + Add Task... split button and the Set Quick Add option.
On the Select Auxiliary Task window, choose a single Auxiliary Checklist task and click Save.
NOTE: The Select Auxiliary Task window displays only active Auxiliary Checklist tasks across all active Auxiliary Checklist titles.
The Code and Description columns can be sorted ascending or descending by clicking on the column title.
Use the funnel next to each column title to filter the list of tasks. Filter options include Starts With, Ends With, Contains, Equal, Empty, Does Not Start With, Does Not End With, Does Not Contain, Not Equal, Not Empty, Like, In, and Not In. Type in the data you wish to find and click Filter.
When a filter is applied, the funnel will be outlined in blue. Click Clear to remove the grid filter.
3. Notice that the + Add Task... button is replaced with + Quick Add [Task Code], where [Task Code] reflects the selected Auxiliary Checklist Task. The configured Quick Add task is saved per user across all Cases and Case Types.
Use Quick Add
Once a Quick Add task is configured, clicking the + Quick Add [Task Code] button will immediately open the checklist side pane with the relevant task details pre-populated.
Click the + Quick Add [Task Code] button. The Checklist Preview Pane will open with the task details. The task has already been added to the Case Checklist and if no changes are needed, click the X to close the pane.
If additional changes are needed, modify the appropriate fields and then click Save Changes.
Manage Quick Add
After a Quick Add task has been set, the + Quick Add [Task Code] dropdown provides the following options:
+ Add Task...
Launches the Select Checklist Task window with the Number of Items field present. Refer to Adding Checklist Items for more information.
Change Quick Add
Launches the Select Auxiliary Task window to select a different Auxiliary Checklist task. Refer to the Set Quick Add process above.
Unset Quick Add
Removes the configured Auxiliary Checklist task. The + Quick Add [Task Code] button returns to the + Add Task... split button, and the Set Quick Add option is restored in the dropdown.
