When a new version of Neos is set to be deployed, it is advised to log out of Neos prior to the release. Once complete, information about the recent release will display in pop-ups within Neos.
If a new version has been deployed during your current Neos browser session (i.e., you are currently logged in to Neos), the following prompt will display.
Click Refresh Now to immediately reload Neos and receive the latest updates.
Click Ask Me Later to close the message. Your Neos version will be checked every 10 minutes and will regenerate this message, if necessary.
NOTE: If you do not see the latest updates in Neos, click Refresh Now.
Depending upon the latest release content, you may be instructed to review some of the new updates and enhancements by clicking through a few screens.
If you do not see the popup, review the troubleshooting steps below.
The pop-up can be closed at any time by clicking the X in the top-right corner or by clicking the All Done! button.
Navigate to the Self-Service Portal to access the Changelog, which shows a full list of enhancements in the current release AND all prior releases. The most current release date is located at the top of the Changelog. Enhancements are listed below, grouped by year, release, and feature.
When possible, images will be available for a preview of enhancements to Neos. Click an image to access an enlarged view of the enhancement. When finished viewing a preview, click the right arrow to watch the next preview or click the X to close and return to the Changelog.
Troubleshooting: No Popup
After changes have been released, and if you do not see a pop-up when you navigate to Neos, your pop-up blocker could be preventing these changes from loading properly. If this happens, you may initially see a blank screen and then the cached version of Neos without the most recent update.
To fix this issue:
In your Chrome browser, select Settings > Extensions to check if you have any pop-up blocker extensions. If you do, create an exception for the Neos URL: https://app.neos-cloud.com. Some pop-up blocker extensions allow you to add exceptions to a whitelist, which enables pop-ups from the listed URL.
If you are not sure how to create the whitelist exception, you can disable the pop-up blocker extension altogether.
If you still have issues after creating the exception or disabling the pop-up blocker, add the Neos URL: https://app.neos-cloud.com to your allowed sites in Chrome.
