With NeosAI, users can extract essential information from a health insurance card to automatically create a Case. Only file formats of DOCX, JPEG/JPG, PNG, and PDF can be used to extract Health Insurance Card data. Once the Case is saved, the uploaded health insurance card will be added to the Documents tab, and a record of both the AI-created Case and document will be included in the Activity Feed.
NOTE: You must have Add permissions to Case > Case Tab and Enabled Special Permissions to NeosAI.
To create a Case from a health insurance card:
Select the Create button (to the right of the Search field) and choose Case.
Select the desired Case Type and click the Save button.
On the Select a Contact window, click the + New Party button.
Click Yes on the Add New Party window.
You will see a new tab in Neos for "Creating new Case (<selected Case Type>)". Select the Actions menu and choose Upload Health Insurance Card.
Upload the Health Insurance Card by dragging and dropping the file or clicking Browse to locate the file.
When the file has been added, click the Upload button.
The Processing window will display and when Complete, a new Party Tab (person) detail view will display with extracted information from the uploaded Health Insurance Card. The Party detail view will contain available information for Full Name (First and Last), Gender, and Date of Birth.
Select the Party Role to save the new Case. The Last Name field must also be populated to save the Party.
Click Save. The image will be uploaded into the Documents Tab of the Case and given a Document Type of "Health Insurance Card".
Extracted data can be reviewed on the Document > Related Items tab.
Double-click the entry to open the detail view showing all extracted fields.
A record of the AI-created Case and uploaded document will be present on the Activity Feed.
