With NeosAI, users can extract essential information from a photo ID to automatically create a Case. Only file formats of DOCX, JPEG/JPG, PNG, and PDF can be used to extract Photo ID data. Once the Case is saved, the uploaded photo ID will be added to the Documents tab, and a record of both the AI-created Case and document will be included in the Activity Feed.
NOTE: You must have Add permissions to Case > Case Tab and Enabled Special Permissions to NeosAI.
To create a Case from a photo ID:
Select the Create button (to the right of the Search field) and choose Case.
Select the desired Case Type and click the Save button.
On the Select a Contact window, click the + New Party button.
Click Yes on the Add New Party window.
You will see a new tab in Neos for "Creating new Case (<selected Case Type>)". Select the Actions menu and choose Upload Photo ID.
Upload the photo ID by dragging and dropping the file or clicking Browse to locate the file.
When the file has been added, click the Upload button.
A confirmation will display when the file has been uploaded.
The file will be analyzed and extracted information will be placed into the corresponding Party fields of the new Case. These fields include First Name, Last Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Address (Home), Email (Business), Phone Number (Mobile, Business, or Fax as stated), and Online Account (Website - Type = Business, Platform = Website).
Select the Party Role to save the new Case. The Last Name field must also be populated to save the Party.
Click Save. The image will be uploaded into the Documents Tab of the Case and given a Document Type of "Photo ID".
Extracted data can be reviewed on the Document > Related Items tab.
Double-click the entry to open the detail view showing all extracted fields.
A record of the AI-created Case and uploaded document will be present on the Activity Feed.
