Contacts Tab Bulk Actions

From the Contacts Tab of a Case, one or more contacts can be actioned in bulk to email, print postage, or invite to an event. Refer to each section below for the required permissions to perform each bulk action.

Bulk Email

When one or more contacts with a valid email address are selected, use the Bulk Actions > Email option to create a new email for those selected contacts.

NOTE: To access this option, you must have Enabled permissions to Name Details > Email Accounts.

The New Email window will display with the name and email address of the contact(s) prefilled in the To field. The Email Subject will default to the [Case Name] ([Case #)].

Make any additional changes and then click Send. Once sent, the New Email window will close and return you to the Contacts Tab. A success message will display, and a record of the email will be saved to the Notes Tab.

Bulk Print Postage

When one more contacts with an address are selected, use the Bulk Actions > Print Postage option to create postage labels for those selected contacts.

NOTE: To access this option, you must have Enabled permissions to Special Permissions > Stamps.com.

You may be prompted to enter your Stamps.com Account credentials. After successful login, the Print Postage window will display the selected contacts already selected. Proceed with the postage workflow to complete the process.

Bulk Invite to Event

When one more contacts with an email address are selected, use the Bulk Actions > Invite to Event option to create a new Case Calendar event for those selected contacts.

NOTE: To access this option, you must have Enabled permissions to Name Details > Email Accounts, Case > Case Calendar Tab, and Office 365 connected in your Staff Profile.

An Event Details window will display with the email addresses of the selected contacts prefilled in the Attendees field. The Associated Case will be prefilled with the related case information.

Make any additional field adjustments and click Save to add the new event to the Case and Outlook calendar for all attendees. The Discard Changes button will remove any changes made after the Contact(s) email(s) and case information have been prefilled. The Event Details window will then close and return you to the Contacts tab when Save is clicked or when the X is clicked to abort the event creation. When the event is created, a success message will display.
