The Dynamic Layout Editor contains the field customization options for each Dynamic Layout created within the Dynamic Layouts Directory. The Dynamic Layout Editor is very similar to the Intake Layout Manager.
NOTE: The Dynamic Layout Editor is included within the NeosAI Platinum offering. Interested firms should fill in this form or contact their Customer Success Manager or [email protected] for more information.
The Dynamic Layout Editor can be accessed from Settings > User Defined section > Dynamic Layout Editor or the Dynamic Layouts Directory.
A new tab will open for the Dynamic Layout Editor. Select the Dynamic Layout of the screen you wish to design.
To add a new Dynamic Layout, click the add button
. A Create Dynamic Layout window will display. Enter a unique name and click Create. The new Dynamic Layout will be saved and will be automatically selected.
To access the Dynamic Layouts Directory, click the hamburger button
.
Within the left pane, the Search field can be used to quickly locate Case Fields and Dynamic Layouts.
Click the down arrow to expand the list of user defined Case Fields. To include a Case Field, select an existing section and click the + button next to the title.
NOTE: Only up to 3 fields can be added to a single row.
Three new Case Field Types have been added to the Case Fields Directory and can be added as Case Fields. Once these Case Fields exist in the Case Fields Directory, they can be added ONLY to the Dynamic Layout Editor.
Address
When the Address type field has been added and the Dynamic Layout where this field exists has been added to the Case/Intake, the Address control will display as follows.
Click into the Address field to access the Add Address window (very similar to Party/Contact). NOTE: State is a text field in this Dynamic Layout Address window.
Fill in the required Address field and any additional fields, then click Save. Entering the Zip code will populate the remaining matching fields. If the Zip code has multiple cities, select the applicable city and watch the remaining fields populate accordingly. The completed address will show in the Address field.
When the Email type field has been added and the Dynamic Layout where this field exists has been added to the Case/Intake, the Email control will display as follows.
Click into the Email field to type the email address. Neos will validate the entered email address (must contain recipient name, @ symbol, domain name, and top-level domain/extension), e.g., [email protected]. An error message will display below the field if the email is invalid.
Click Save to keep your changes. The email address will become a mailto: hyperlink and when clicked, will open an email window with that selected email in the To field.
Phone Number
When the Phone Number type field has been added and the Dynamic Layout where this field exists has been added to the Case/Intake, the Phone Number control will display as follows.
Click in the Phone Number field to type the phone number. Neos will validate the entered phone number to ensure it contains 10 digits. An error message will display below the field if the phone number is invalid.
Click Save to keep your changes. When the phone icon is clicked, your firm's connected RingCentral or Zoom widget will display and attempt to dial the phone number. If neither are configured, a link to your browser's softphone will trigger. When the text message button is clicked, a New Text Message window will display.
NOTE: At the time, the phone number must be associated with a contact in Neos to select it from the Phone dropdown.
Click the down arrow to expand the list of Dynamic Layouts. To include a Dynamic Layout, click the + button next to the title. The selected Dynamic Layout will be added in its own section. A Dynamic Layout can only be added once per selected Dynamic Layout. Click the square arrow button to locate that Dynamic Layout within the layout.
When Dynamic Layouts are added, as shown above, and the Dynamic Layout is added to a Case/Intake, you will have the option to add multiple entries all at one time. For example, let's say the Additional Medical Details Dynamic Layout contains a "Medication" Dynamic Layout. When adding "Additional Medical Details" as a Dynamic Layout to a Case/Intake, this section is shown below and after adding and saving data to these fields, the + Make List option will become available. [screenshot]
A new entry will display when the + Make List button is clicked, allowing additional entries within this "Medication" section to be added at one time. NOTE: The + Add New and + Make List buttons will be hidden until changes are saved. [screenshot]
Additional entries of this Dynamic Layout can be added by clicking the breadcrumb trail to return to the parent tab and selecting the + New Entry button above the Dynamic Layout grid.
Child entries of a Dynamic Layout parent can be accessed by clicking the caret icon to the left of each check box. Child entries are sorted by Date Modified with the most recently modified entry first. If only one child exists for a parent Dynamic Layout, it will automatically be expanded.
Only the entries that contain data will be saved.
The right pane will display the designer where sections and fields are placed. Case fields, Headers, and Paragraphs can only be placed when a Section has been selected in the editor. Refer to Add/Remove Dynamic Layout Sections to start the process.
Click the
icon to the right of a user defined Case field to add that field to the Dynamic Layout Design screen for the selected Dynamic Layout. NOTE: An existing Section must be selected from the Dynamic Layout Editor design screen before individual fields can be added.
The Dynamic Layout Editor allows you to create new Sections, Headers, and Paragraphs for customizing Dynamic Layouts with NeosAI.
