With NeosAI, users can extract essential information from a Health Insurance Card to automatically create a Party. Only file formats of DOCX, JPEG/JPG, PNG, and PDF can be used to extract Health Insurance Card data.
NOTE: You must have Add permissions to Case > Party Tab and Enabled Special Permissions to NeosAI.
To add a Party from a Health Insurance Card:
On the Party Tab list view, click the Add from file… AI dropdown.
Select the Add from Health Insurance Card AI option.
NOTE: The Create Party AI option is also available in the detail view for documents that already exist in the Case with a "Health Insurance Card" Document Type that have been AI Enhanced.
Upload the Health Insurance Card by dragging and dropping the file or clicking Browse to locate the file.
When the file has been added, click the Upload button.
The Processing window will display and when Complete, a new Party Tab (person) detail view will display with extracted information from the uploaded Health Insurance Card. The Party detail view will contain available information for Full Name (First and Last), Gender, and Date of Birth.
Select the Party Role to save the new Party. The Last Name field must also be populated to save the Party.
The image will be automatically uploaded into the Documents Tab of the Case and given a Document Type of "Health Insurance Card".
In the same workflow, NeosAI will analyze the Health Insurance Card to extract the relevant Party details.
Extracted information will be placed in the Related Items tab on the Document detail view.
Double-click the entry to open the detail view showing all extracted fields.
