Accessing the Party Tab

The Party tab contains important information about the parties in a case. Numerous parties that relate to a case may be added on the Party tab.

NOTE: You must have at least Enabled permissions to view the Party tab.

To access the Party tab, open a Case Folder and click the Party tab from the list of tabs. The detail view of the first Party will display as the default. Click the X to close the detail view and display the list view. Scroll to the next or previous Party by clicking the navigation arrows.

List View

The list view contains the list of all parties in a case. Using the hand icon , click to reorder the list of parties.

NOTE: Parties can only be reordered when column headings are NOT sorted.

Select a party from the list to display a preview pane of information. Click the View Party button to access the detail view of the selected party. The Party preview pane contains easily accessible Party information such as the Party's full address, email(s), default phone, gender, masked social security number, date of birth, and deceased status. Their Provider and Party role information, as well as the list of cases and intakes where they are a Party is also shown.

Click to close the preview pane. To open the detail view of this Party, click the View Party button.

You can also double-click the party to bypass the preview pane and open the detail view.

The Party detail view now looks similar to the Provider layout.

​Use the ​Party Navigation​ to see the detail view of other Parties in a Case by clicking the left and right arrow buttons. The current Party of the total number of Parties in a Case is shown on each Party detail view. Click X to return to the List View.

NOTE: If a Party open in the tab is deleted or moved to another Case by another user, the Party tab will display a message indicating the Party is unavailable instead of Party details. Reopening the Party tab will return to the Case's Party list.

A Party profile picture can be changed on the detail view of the Party Tab. Click the image or image placeholder to open a browse file window to add a new picture. Click the trash can to remove the existing picture.

Confirm your intention on the Delete Image message.

Click the X to view the picture in full size.

From the Actions menu, you can change the party to a Company/Person, list the Cases for this Party, and Add the Party to a Mailing List.

Party information, such as Phones, Emails, Online Accounts, and Addresses can be added, modified, and deleted.
