A Case Type may be deleted from the list view of the Case Type Directory when it is not used in any Cases or Intakes.
To delete a Case Type that is in use, all associated Cases and Intakes must be reassigned to a different Case Type.
NOTE: You must have Delete permission to Directories > Case Type to delete a Case Type.
To delete a Case Type:
Navigate to Settings > Case Types.
On the Case Types list view, click the Delete icon
next to the Case Type in the grid you wish to remove.
If the Case Type is used in Cases or Intakes, a "Case type in use" warning message will display.
If the Case Type is not used in any areas of Neos, a "Delete case type" message will display.
Click the Yes button to delete the selected Case Type.
Click the No button to abort the Case Type deletion.
5. When Yes is clicked, the following success message will display.
