With your firm's Stamps.com account and enabled integration, Neos will guide you through the process for creating postage and shipping labels from inside a Case.

NOTE: To trigger the Print Postage workflow, the Stamps.com integration must be enabled and Staff must have the Stamps.com Special Permission and View permissions to Case > Party Tab.

To start the Print Postage workflow:

  1. Navigate to the desired Case.

  2. Click the Print Postage button from the Party Tab detail view or list view. Print Postage can also be accessed from the Quick Actions Menu.

  3. A window will display to connect to your Stamps.com account. Enter your Stamps.com Username and Password. You can use an individual account or a shared firm account. Each user's login session will last 7 days.

NOTE: Refer to Stamps.com Integration for more information on obtaining your Stamps.com username.

  4. The Print Postage window will display and guide you along a 5-step workflow. The window includes a Sign Out button, allowing multiple users or different Stamps.com accounts to be used. When Cancel or Sign Out is clicked to close the workflow, the Unsaved changes window will display.

Step 1: Select Address

  1. Use the checkboxes to select the Parties and/or Related Contacts in the Case. If you accessed the Print Postage button from the Party Tab detail view, all of the addresses for that Party will be automatically selected in this step and will appear at the top of the list.

The Select Address grid contains the unique addresses for all unique Parties in the Case, sorted alphabetically by last name. All columns can be sorted alphabetically.

  • Name – Displays the name [Last, First] OR [Company Name] associated with each unique address per unique contact related with the Case. The Party or Contact icon is displayed to the left of each Name depending upon involvement.

  • Role – Displays the involvement type of the Contact in the Case from the following roles and also displays relevant metadata (e.g., Negotiator will display the associated Party and Negotiation Type in parentheses):

    • Party, Counsel, Insurer, Adjuster, Court, Billing Client, Negotiator, Judge, Police, Value Provider, and User Tab 1-10 contacts

  • Type – Displays the Address Type, e.g., Home, Business, etc.

  • Address – Displays the Address line 1 and 2.

  • City – Displays the name's City.

  • State – Displays the name's State.

  • Zip – Displays the name's Zipcode.

2. When the Auto-Create Expense/Value Creation toggle is enabled in the Stamps.com integration, the Create Value Items toggle will be present, as outlined above.

3. Click the toggle to turn on the auto-create Value items for this postage workflow. When enabled, the Bill To column will be shown in the grid, defaulted to the Case's Bill To Client. Bill To becomes a required field.

4. Click the Next button to continue to Step 2 – Validate Address.
