Adding Phone Numbers
Phone numbers are displayed in a Phone Numbers list. Phone numbers can be flagged as "do not call" and can be dialed from any screen in Neos that displays a hyperlinked phone number.
NOTE: You must have Modify permissions to Case > Party Tab to add a phone number from the Party Tab.
To enter a new phone number:
Click the plus button above the Phone Numbers list.
Enter the following fields on the Add Phone window.
Type – Select the phone type from the dropdown. A new phone type can be created by entering up to 20 characters of unique text in the Filter row within the dropdown and select Add this custom value. Type is a required field.
NOTE: The custom type is only added to the dropdown for the active contact.
Phone – Enter the required 10-digit phone number, without parentheses or dashes. Phone is a required field.
Ext. – Enter the phone extension, if applicable.
Call? – Select the checkbox if this phone number is allowed to be dialed. When selected, a "call" icon is placed in the Can Call column.
3. Click the Save button to insert the phone number into the Phone Numbers list. Click the Cancel button to abort the phone addition.
