Existing tags can be assigned to a document during the add process, while editing the detail view, and on the preview pane.
NOTE: You must have Add and/or Modify permissions to Case > Documents Tab to create and assign tags while adding a new document or editing an existing document in Neos.
New tags can now be created and assigned to a document with one click from the Tags dropdown in the following locations:
Drag/drop a file into the Documents list view
Drag/drop a file into the Related Documents grid
Importing a file
Documents detail view
Document preview pane
This field will display a list of global (from the Tags Mini Directory) and case-specific document tags. The fastest way to assign tags to documents is by using the Details tab of the preview pane.
To add a new tag, simply type the unique tag into the Tags field and click the hyperlink to "Add <entered text> as a Case Tag".
To avoid duplicate tags from being created, the option to create a new Case Tag will only display if your entered text does NOT match any existing global or case-specific tags.
The new tag will be added to the list of tags for this Case and automatically assigned to the active document.
The full list of tags can be accessed from the Manage Case Tag window.
