Modify AI Executive Case Summary

Changes to the data source or a field within the Case can prompt the AI Executive Case Summary to be refreshed.

When the Case Summary has been generated, the "Up to date" text will display on the top right of the section. Hover over the text to see the date and time the summary was last generated.

Case Data Changes

If changes (additions, updates, or deletions) have been made to an entry that triggers a log in the Activity Feed, and is used as a data source, the AI Executive Case Summary section will detect the change and queue a generation or refresh for 3 hours in the future or 1 minute after the last scheduled summary, whichever is later.

In other words, if changes are being made in a Case by multiple Staff throughout the day, the 3-hour window will start over with the last saved change. This allows Staff to work on various cases, and when activity is less frequent, the AI Executive Case Summary will automatically regenerate.

The summary can be refreshed at any time by clicking the Refresh button. It will regenerate with the updated information and return to the "Up to date" state.

Data Source Changes

To make changes to the configured data sources, click the three-dot menu and choose Select Data Sources.

The Select Data Sources window will display, showing your current selections.

Use the Additional Instructions field to provide custom instructions that will be included in the prompt when generating and regenerating the Executive Case Summary for this Case. This field allows your firm to have control over the summary output. If the AI Executive Case Summary AI Tag already has Additional Instructions, this field will be pre-populated but can be edited as needed.

NOTE: You must have the AI: Manage Prompts & Tags Special Permission enabled to access and edit the Additional Instructions field. [screenshot]

Save as Default for Case Summary

Staff who have the AI: Manage Prompts & Tags Special Permission set to Enabled can click the checkbox at the bottom of the Select Data Sources window to save the settings as the default for future Executive Case Summaries in other cases. NOTE: This selection is a global change that will apply to all future Case Summaries generated across all Case Types, performed by any Staff. Any tabs that are included in the default data sources but do not exist in future Case Types will not be included in the executive summary.

Navigate to the AI Tags Directory > AI Executive Case Summary tag to see the saved changes. [screenshot]

Save Data Source Changes

Make the necessary changes and click Save. Confirm your intention to change data sources, which will regenerate the AI Executive Case Summary. When Yes is clicked, the Data Sources window will close and regenerate the summary.
