Some fields on a Value item are not directly modifiable, such as Adjustments, Payments, and Due amount. Changing the field values of the Value Total, Reduction, or Transaction Details fields will cause the other fields to be recalculated. For example, if the Value Total field changes, the Due field will be recalculated.
Changing the Value Party
Occasionally, a Value item gets added with the wrong Value Party. To attach the Value item to the correct Party:
From the detail view of the Value item, click the Party dropdown at the top of the Value item to display a list of parties in the Case with their Role.
Click to select the desired Party from the dropdown. A Change Value Party warning message will display.
Click the Yes button to move the current Value item to the selected Party name.
Click the No button to abort the Value Party change.
3. Click the Save button to keep your changes.
