The enhanced Intake Layout Design screen contains blocks for Name, Addresses, Phones, Online Accounts, and Emails. These blocks are located under the Party Tab section and can be removed or added as needed. Standard fields in each block are inserted in the Intake Layout Design screen and cannot be rearranged or removed. Field block titles also cannot be renamed.
If your firm's existing Intake Layout contained fields for Parties, Addresses, Phones, Online Accounts, and/or Emails, the enhanced Intake Layout Manager for the selected Case Type will now show the Name (block), Addresses (block), Phones (block), Online Accounts (block), and/or Emails (block).
The Name (Party-1) field has been migrated to the new Name (block) to use the built-in name duplicate check functionality in the enhanced Intake. All party name data has been converted to this style and will not cause any disruption in your firm's Intakes.
NOTE: While data will not be affected, some fields may need to be reordered in the Intake Layout Manager to account for the new Name (block) section. Any fields that existed next to the Name (Party) search field will now appear below the Name (block) section.
New Case Types that do not have a user defined Intake Layout will automatically contain the Name (block), Addresses (block), Phones (block), Online Accounts (block), and Emails (block).
Name (block) contains 3 fields for the Party name (First Name, Middle Name, and Last Name). The Name (block) also contains a built-in duplicate name check. This feature will search your Neos database as you type. When the Last Name field contains text, any matching names will display in a pane, allowing you to easily insert the correct record in the new Intake. Name results will become more targeted as you continue to enter other Party fields (such as address or email). Refer to Creating a New Intake for more details.
NOTE: It is recommended to enter name details, starting with the First Name field to automatically filter names once the duplicate name check is triggered from the Last Name field.
Addresses (block) contains 11 fields relating to the Party's address (Address Type, Salutation, Company Name, Address Line #1, Address Line #2, City, State, Zip Code, County, Country, and Default). This block help to improve your firm's data entry efficiency and allows multiple addresses to be added in the Intake form.
Phones (block) contains 4 fields relating to the Party's phone number (Number, Type, Extension, and Call?). This block help to improve your firm's data entry efficiency and allows multiple phone records to be added in the Intake form.
Online Accounts (block) contains 3 fields relating to the Party's online accounts (Type, Category, and Account). This block helps to improve your firm's data entry efficiency and allows multiple online accounts (e.g., websites and social profile links) to be added to the Intake form.
Emails (block) contains 2 fields relating to the Party's emails. (Type and Email). This block helps to improve your firm's data entry efficiency and allows multiple email addresses to be added to the Intake form.
